"Elizabeth wants to advance nursing, midwifery and personal care work in South Australia"
I've been an ANMF SA member for over 14 years. I've been a worksite rep for many of those years and I also worked as a liaison officer at the ANMF SA for 4 years.
During that time I had the pleasure of meeting hundreds, maybe thousands, of members - many of you who are reading this. From SALHN, NALHN, RMCLHN, aged care sites, redcross donor centres, to RFDS and MedSTAR.
I also got to know Elizabeth very well, both professionally and personally. Elizabeth will be the first to admit that she doesn't always get it right. But she listens, learns and tries harder next time. Now is not the time to change this.
In Elizabeth's time as Secretary, she has built up critically important relationships with health care executives, politicians and the media. She has also helped make the ANMF SA a financially sound organisation.
But executives, pollies and business aside, I know that's not why Elizabeth does the job. Elizabeth genuinely cares about every member. She wants to advance nursing, midwifery and personal care work in South Australia both industrially and professionally. Now is not the time to change this.
I’m proud to support Elizabeth for her re-election, so please keep an eye out for ballot information and vote for Elizabeth.
